Mirjana Čizmarov - Serbia
Biography
Mirjana Čizmarov graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. Throughout her career she has dealt with the legal aspects of the European integration process in several institutions and in various civil aviation domains.
Ms Čizmarov first encountered the European association process working with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
From 2002 till 2005, she served as deputy minister of transport in charge of European integration.
Since 2006, Ms Čizmarov has been employed with the Civil Aviation Directorate, working as legal and general affairs director, special adviser to the director general for CRCO, planning and development director and acting deputy director.
In October 2014, she was appointed as Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate, and in 2019 reappointed to this position for an additional five years.
First in 2015, and then again in 2017, Ms Čizmarov was elected as the vice-president of EUROCONTROL’s Provisional Council.
In November 2021, she was appointed as a member of the JAA TO Foundation Board.
