Rabat, 29 June 2026 — The seventh meeting of the sister regional aviation organisations, the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC), ECAC, and the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC), took place on the margins of the ACAO General Assembly in Rabat on 29 June 2026.
ECAC Executive Secretary, Patricia Reverdy, joined the heads of the regional organisations for their regular exchange on current developments affecting the global aviation sector and on opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between their organisations.
The discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views on upcoming major ICAO events, with particular attention to the ICAO Extraordinary Assembly and priorities for the Seventh Worldwide Air Transport Conference (ATConf/7) in November.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to mutual support, close cooperation and continued dialogue on matters of common interest, recognising the valuable contribution that regional organisations make to advancing international civil aviation objectives.
