Videoconference, 3-4 June 2026 — The ECAC Group on Security Testing held its fourth meeting in June, focusing on making progress in the development of guidance material under its 2026 work programme.
Two items - on general guidance for testing and on best practice for cargo security testing - were reviewed and brought to near-final versions with a view to peer-review and finalisation before submission to the Security Programme Management Group in July. Progress was also made on four other guidance notes that will be finalised later in the year.
The group also heard a presentation on approaches to testing in Georgia, given by the group’s new deputy chair, Gvantsa Kereselidze.
