Stockholm, 23 June 2026 — The ECAC Medium-Term Objectives Task Force met in Stockholm to review progress on the implementation of the 2025-2027 ECAC work programme and begin shaping the priorities to be included in the work programme for the 2028-2030 triennium.
In addition to discussing the future work programme, the task force considered the associated budget for 2028-2030. The outcomes of these discussions will be presented to Directors General in August for policy guidance, which will support EMTO’s finalisation of the draft programme and budget.
The meeting also marked the first participation of two newly appointed task force members and alternates following the election of new members to the Coordinating Committee on 19 May 2026 (DGCA/166). Amarilda Nakuçi (Albania) joined EMTO as a member and Christian Andres (Switzerland) joined as an alternate member. Participants welcomed both representatives and looked forward to their contribution to the group’s future work.
