European Safety and Air Navigation Coordination Group (ESANCG)

Its main objectives are:
- to coordinate European contributions, including for ICAO Assemblies, and maintain dialogue with key international partners in the context of preparations for major ICAO events;
- to maintain dialogue with European stakeholders and key international partners in the context of preparations for major ICAO events;
- to coordinate common elements of reply to ICAO State letters deemed of strategic interest for Europe; and
- to report to DGs, via the Focal Point for Safety matters, on the implementation of its work programme and to establish a proposal for its future work.
Its membership is composed of ECAC/EU Member States, EASA, SESAR Joint Undertaking and EUROCONTROL and the group can meet up to eight times per year if needed, for instance during the years where ICAO Assemblies are held.
