Born: 18 April 1960 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Education:

Leningrad (Saint Petersburg) Civil Aviation College (Russian Federation) in 1979 (diploma with honours)
Kyiv Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers (Ukraine) in 1988.

Work experience:

1979-1996: Held various positions within the Civil Aviation Authority of Azerbaijan
1996-2000: General representative of the State Concern "Azerbaijan Airlines" in Türkiye
2000-2008: Head of Coordination and Foreign Relations Department and then Deputy Director General of the State Concern "Azerbaijan Airlines"
2008-2013, 2016-2018: Director of the State Civil Aviation Administration of Azerbaijan
2013-2016: Vice-President of CJSC "Azerbaijan Airlines"
2018 - to date: Director of the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Awards:

State awards: "Shohrat" (Glory) Order and "Taraggi" (Progress) medal.

Also awarded various medals for services to civil aviation of Azerbaijan.

Engineer-Economist, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Married, 2 children.
