Biography
Lars Korsholm was appointed Deputy Director General of the Danish Civil Aviation Division in June 2025. With over 20 years of experience in public administration, Lars brings deep expertise in aviation regulation, infrastructure, and international affairs.
He previously headed the “Luftfart 1” division at Trafikstyrelsen, where he led work on air-space management and aviation infrastructure. In his current role, he oversees aviation safety, passenger rights, green transition efforts, and Denmark’s international aviation representation, including within ICAO and the EU.
Lars has held key roles across the Danish civil service and the European Commission, contributing to transport policy, public law, and EU coordination. He holds a Master of Laws from Copenhagen Business School and is recognised for his collaborative leadership and strategic mindset.
