Biography
Haris Antoniades is a senior civil aviation professional with extensive experience in air navigation services, air traffic management, operational oversight, and aviation administration. He currently serves as Acting Director of the Department of Civil Aviation of Cyprus, having previously served as chief operations officer and head of Air Navigation Services, head of the Nicosia Area Control Centre, and head of the Operational Oversight Section of the Cyprus NSA.
He began his career as an air traffic controller at Larnaca Airport and the Nicosia Area Control Centre, bringing extensive operational and management experience across Cyprus's aviation system. He holds an MBA, a master's in public sector management from the Cyprus International Institute of Management, an MSc in Transportation Engineering, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, from the University of Minnesota.
