Biography
Bahruz Malikov is the Acting Chairman of the Board of the State Civil Aviation Agency (SCAA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He has been serving in this position since 2025. He was also designated as the National Continuous Monitoring Coordinator for the ICAO Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP).
Mr Malikov has 26 years of experience in civil aviation. Throughout his career, he has a background in air navigation, aerodrome oversight, and environmental protection in aviation.
Mr Malikov has a PhD in engineering. He studied at Riga’s Aviation from 1993 to 1995. He graduated from the National Aviation Academy in 1998.
