Policy Coordinator - Security
Artem joined the ECAC Secretariat in November 2020 as an Aviation Security Capacity-Building Specialist before moving to his current role of Aviation Security Policy Coordinator in August 2025. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating the implementation of ECAC’s security work programme and developing aviation security and aviation cyber security policies and documents to harmonise measures across all ECAC Member States.
He provides Secretariat support to the ECAC Security Forum, the Technical Task Force, the Threat Response Group, the Study Group on Explosive Detection Dogs, the Study Group on Cyber Security in Civil Aviation, and the European Coordination Group on Cyber Security.
Artem began his aviation security career in 2012 at Kyiv International Airport, and has held several aviation security positions at the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine, where he also served as a security expert contributing to the implementation of the EU-funded, ECAC-implemented CASE Project.
