Warsaw, 19-20 November 2025 — Warsaw Chopin Airport recently participated in ECAC’s Quality Assessment Programme (QAP), welcoming a team of ECAC-certified assessors from Iceland, Italy and the United Kingdom.
During the two-day onsite assessment, the team observed operations and interviewed airport staff to evaluate how the airport operator provides assistance to passengers with disabilities and passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs).
The assessment focused on several key areas: the rights to assistance, PRM charges, quality standards for assistance, staff training, and the accessibility of information available online.
Conducted based on the recommendations in ECAC’s Doc 30, Part I – Facilitation, this activity forms part of the QAP launched in 2024 and is the fifth assessment carried out under the programme to date. We look forward to welcoming on board more participating States in 2026!
ECAC extends its warm thanks to the Polish Civil Aviation Authority for the invitation to conduct this assessment, and to everyone at Warsaw Chopin Airport for their excellent cooperation.
