Videoconference, 18 December 2025 — Experts from ECAC Member States met in two configurations of the European Aviation and Environment Working Group (EAEG) to discuss the outcomes from the first Steering Group meeting of the 14th cycle of the ICAO Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP/14), held in Singapore from 1 to 5 December 2025.
The EAEG/89 (Expanded) session brought together the broader community of European aviation and environment specialists, ensuring they remain engaged in, and aware of, ongoing CAEP work. The subsequent EAEG-CAEP/90 session – limited to European CAEP members, observers and experts – focused on the technical points emerging from the Singapore meeting and the themes shaping the start of the CAEP/14 cycle.
Together, the sessions allowed experts to share perspectives and prepare for upcoming work. They also underscored ECAC Member States’ strong commitment to advancing environmental work, both by those participating directly in CAEP work as well as the wider community of experts across Europe addressing aviation’s environmental impact.
