Vilnius, 3-5 September 2025 — Lithuania’s Vilnius Airport was the latest site to undergo an ECAC Quality Assessment Programme (QAP) review this month, as a team of ECAC experts evaluated how the airport and its contractors provide assistance to passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility (PRMs).
The team of ECAC-certified assessors from Germany, Greece, Italy and Switzerland spent two and a half days observing operations and interviewing airport staff and representatives of the service provider, Litcargus. Their work focused on airport design, the flow of passenger information, and charges related to PRM services.
Based on recommendations in ECAC’s Doc 30, Part I (Facilitation), the review is part of the QAP launched in 2024. Vilnius marks the second assessment of 2025, with the final review of the year scheduled in Warsaw in November.
