Denmark hosts a best practices for national auditors training course
Copenhagen, 3-5 May 2023 — The Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority hosted a Best Practices for National Auditors – Level 2 training course in Copenhagen for national auditors from Austria, Denmark, Lithuania, Montenegro and the Republic of Moldova. An aviation security instructor from the CAA of Portugal (ANAC) also contributed to the course.
This course built on the experience and knowledge national auditors gained from attending the level 1 course. Its main objective was to familiarise the auditors with best practices in aviation security audit and inspection techniques and strengthen their competencies in implementing compliance monitoring activities at a national level. The combination of classroom presentations and practical activities at an airport enabled the participants to further develop their expertise in inspecting various security measures, including screening of passenger and cabin baggage, security equipment and access control.
