ECAC Medium-Term Objectives Task Force reviews developments in ECAC’s activities
Videoconference, 15 February 2023 — The 65th meeting of the ECAC Medium-Term Objectives Task Force (EMTO) reviewed the currently applicable version of the ECAC Risk Register (May 2022) and agreed on a series of amendments that reflect the lifting of COVID-19 travel restrictions in Europe and most regions, recent developments in ECAC activities, and the actions agreed by Directors General following the performance review of ECAC’s working groups carried out mid-2022. The amended version of the risk register will be presented to the Coordinating Committee in April 2023.
Chaired by Bertrand de Lacombe (France), the task force also discussed the impact of the decisions taken by Directors General in August 2020 on the organisation of both online and in-person meetings of ECAC groups (e.g. increased Member State participation). They welcomed the cost-saving measures taken by the ECAC Secretariat since 2020. Finally, the task force took note of the timeline for the preparation and adoption of the ECAC 2025-2027 work programme and associated budget.
