Technical Task Force discusses testing methodology for prohibited item detection
21-22 June 2022 - The Technical Task Force (TTF) met to review the work being carried out in TTF study groups since the beginning of 2022 and to discuss updates on security technology developments in member and observer States.
The preparation of a new ECAC Common Testing Methodology (CTM) for Automated Prohibited Item Detection Systems (APIDS) for explosive detection systems for cabin baggage (to automatically detect prohibited articles in cabin baggage) was presented, as well as progress on other CTMs and other work priorities agreed for 2022.
