Guidance Material Task Force advances key aviation security documents

Videoconference, 17 September 2024 — During its 62^nd online meeting, the Guidance Material Task Force reviewed progress made in advancing its work programme. Among key outcomes were the completion of two documents: the new Aviation Security Handbook on Mitigating the Risks of MANPADS and Other Weapons Representing a Similar Threat and Guidance Material for the Implementation of Aircraft Security (revised Doc 30, Part II Annex).

Both documents have been adopted by the Security Programme Management Group and will soon be made available to ECAC Member States.
