11th ECAC/EU Dialogue: Restart, Reconnect, Recover - Rebuilding Aviation in a Changed World, 4 November 2020
The 2020 ECAC/EU Dialogue with the European air transport industry was held on 4 November 2020 under the auspices of the German EU Presidency. This edition of the Dialogue was organised as a virtual conference.
With the COVID-19 global pandemic in mind, discussions at this year's event focused on tackling issues surrounding an aviation world in crisis.
The theme was "Restart, Reconnect, Recover - Rebuilding Aviation in a Changed World". Discussions explored the economic and financial impact of the crisis on aviation, the public's perception of air travel, the consequences for environmental initiatives, as well as the impact on implementation of the Single European Sky.
Since 1995, ECAC/EU Dialogues have been bringing together high-level aviation decision makers, industry leaders and aviation specialists to exchange ideas and experience, ask questions and freely discuss the current issues and challenges facing those involved in aviation today.
