Biography

As the Executive Secretary of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), Patricia Reverdy’s role is to promote the role of ECAC and to lead the activities of the organisation. She provides the ECAC President, the members of the Coordinating Committee and all ECAC Directors General with policy advice and strategic options on all issues within the ECAC Work Programme and on possible areas for new activity. She manages the implementation of the organisation’s work programme according to the allocated budget.

She fosters partnerships with other States, regions and organisations (e.g. ACAO, AFCAC, LACAC) and promotes ECAC’s views and initiatives to ensure the successful implementation of the organisation’s mandate and objectives. She also promotes awareness of ECAC’s work, through publications and representation of ECAC at international meetings.

Ms Reverdy has over 20 years of experience in civil aviation. She first joined ECAC in September 2001 as Aviation Security Audit and Assistance Officer before being appointed as Deputy Executive Secretary in 2008. She started her career in the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation in Berne.
