Erick Ferrandez - EASA

Biography

An aeronautical engineer by education, Erick spent 14 years of his career in the industry in the flight operations domain before joining EASA. He gained his operational experience from both a manufacturer perspective working for the Airbus Customer Services, and also from an airline perspective as he worked for US Airways in the United States.

After several years heading the Agency's international technical cooperation projects, Erick is currently the head of EASA's Safety Intelligence Department and is in charge of the Data4Safety programme, the European Big Data programme for aviation safety.
