Daniel Johansson - Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden)
Biography
Daniel Johansson, Associate Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, has over 20 years of experience in climate change and energy system research, including the role of aviation in this context. Currently, his research focuses on the mitigation of non-CO2 climate impacts of aviation.
He has written and contributed to over 40 peer-reviewed articles in a diverse set of journals such as Nature Climate Change, Nature Communications, Environmental Research Letters, and Science Advances. He is also active in science-policy discussions and has, for example, contributed to the development of the Swedish negative emissions strategy and is currently the Swedish representative in the Impact and Science Group (ISG) within ICAO’s Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP).
