James Falzon - European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
Biography
James Falzon is associate director, sustainable infrastructure, at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He is responsible for integrating climate change considerations into the bank’s annual €2 billion investments in infrastructure projects. He has led the development of the bank’s methodological framework for aligning investments in aviation sector with the goals of the Paris Agreement, and advises on policy dialogues and technical cooperation activities related to aviation and in particular the development of SAF supply chains. He has previously worked in public administration, sustainability consulting, and energy engineering, and has qualifications in engineering, finance, and economic policy.
