Biography

Ms. Anelia Marinova was born in 1967. She has completed her secondary education at 114 English Language School in Sofia, Bulgaria; fluent in English and Russian. Master of Technical Sciences, Aeronautical Engineer with a specialty in maintenance and operation of aircraft radio electronic equipment from the Civil Aviation Engineers Institute in Riga, Latvia. Ms. Marinova has a postgraduate qualification in International Law and Foreign Trade from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria and project management (Introduction to Project Management Principles and Practices) from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education, numerous professional trainings and certifications, incl. flight safety management systems, Aviation Quality Auditing & Route Cause Analysis.

Ms. Marinova has over 30 years of professional experience in the aviation industry, with more than 20 of them in management positions in various airlines. She went through the positions of aeronautical engineer, dispatcher, commercial director, founder and manager of several airlines. The company she has led for the past 3 years is a licensed air operator and Community air carrier operating 6 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.
