Kevin Shum - Singapore
Biography
Kevin Shum is the Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. He is responsible for the development of Singapore as a sustainable aviation hub. He is also on the Executive Committee and the Chair of the Asia Pacific CEO Committee (APC3) in the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation.
Prior to this, he was Deputy Secretary (International) at the Ministry of Transport, and has also worked at the Ministry of Finance, the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and International Enterprise Singapore.
Kevin graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Economics; and Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, with a master's in international public policy. He also studied at the Harvard Business School's General Management Program.
He received the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2011.
