Biography

Hana Guyaux Pecháčková has a master degree in law (2000) from Masaryk University, Czech Republic. She studied E-commerce and cross-cultural management (2000) at the Economic University of Vienna, Austria and attended courses on International public and private law organised by The Hague Academy of International Law (2001, 2002), The Hague, The Netherlands.

Since 2000 she worked for international law firms where she focused on competition, telecommunications, e-commence, IPR, IT & new technologies.

In 2005, Hana has joined the European Commission’s DG Justice, Freedom and Security where she worked in the field of data protection and privacy, focusing on new technologies.

Since 2011, she is at the DG for Mobility and Transport. Originally she was responsible for preparing and coordinating legislative and non-legislative works in the field of aviation security. As the cybersecurity coordinator Hana was and still is responsible for addressing cybersecurity resilience in aviation.

Within her current assignment in the field of safety, Hana is responsible for relations with the International Civil Aviation Organization and for coordinating works between the unit, Member States, EASA and ECAC. Her responsibilities extend to technical assistance projects and programmes financing.
