Phil Dykins - United Kingdom
Biography
Phil Dykins is Head of Aviation Security Regulation at the UK Civil Aviation Authority, a position he has held since 2018.
Prior to this he was Head of Aviation Security Policy at the UK Department for Transport, during which period he was also a Member of the ICAO Aviation Security Panel and chaired ICAO's Working Group on Threat and Risk.
His previous roles at the DfT included Head of the Department's Strategic Planning team, Head of International Air Services Policy, and leading preparations for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Before that he held a series of roles within the UK Government dealing with domestic policy and international engagement in a range of subject areas including climate change, water pollution, planning, housing and sport, as well as spending a period on secondment to the European Commission.
