Dinko Staničić - Croatia

Biography

Dinko Staničić graduated as a civil aviation engineer in 2003 from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at the University of Zagreb.

He started working in the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure in February 2005 and has held various positions in the administration: expert associate in the Personnel Licensing Department, head of the International Affairs Division, acting DGCA, and since April 2012 he is the director of the Civil Aviation Sector.

He is head of the Croatian delegation in the governing bodies of EUROCONTROL, ECAC, EASA, ABIS, EUSPA and ICAO.

He has been chairman of the National Airspace Management Committee since July 2010, and chairman of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee and member of the Aviation Safety Management Committee since May 2022.

Mr Staničić also held various positions in supervisory and audit boards of SOCs in the aviation sector (Croatia Control, Osijek Airport).
