Tomislav Tuntev - North Macedonia
Biography
On 9 January 2019, Tomislav Tuntev officially took up the role of Director General of the Civil Aviation Agency of North Macedonia.
Before being appointed Director General, he was elected as a member of parliament in the parliamentary elections in 2014, being MP in two mandates.
During his 25-year professional career, he has held top-level management functions at both Macedonian airports in Ohrid and Skopje.
Since 1996, he has been regularly engaged as a lecturer, and later as a professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Bitola.
As a Bachelor of Science in the field of aviation and air transport engineering, he has continuously upgraded his educational level; in 2006 he received a master’s degree and in 2009 he became a Doctor of Science in the field of technical sciences.
He is author of numerous published scientific papers, professional books, handbooks and manuals.
