Biography
Andrei Cebanu
Andrei Cebanu was appointed Director of the Civil Aviation Authority on 7 August 2025. A graduate of the Riga Higher Military Aviation Engineering School, he joined the Authority in 2001 and has since gained extensive professional experience. He served as the deputy director from 2022, contributing to the institution’s strategic development.
During his career, Mr Cebanu has held a number of technical positions in the areas of airworthiness and airport operations, marked by strong technical expertise and professionalism. He is a member of the EASA Technical Body for Airworthiness and has served as National RAMP Coordinator since 2007.
